The Alcane Knife is aesthetically modern in design and traditional in its function. The Alcane features strength from its stainless steel blade and melt-resistant handle, linear lock, thumb screw (for opening with one hand), and belt clip. The handle is made from G10 material which is produced by inserting continuous glass woven fabric impregnated with an epoxy resin binder under high heat and pressure.  This gives the material its superior mechanical and dimensional stability.  It also doesn't shrink under different temperatures (unlike aluminum products).
